On March 28, Intelligent Valley Enterprise Plaza or Hunan Media Art Industrial Park held a launching ceremony for attracting global investments at the Intelligent Valley Center. Relevant persons in charge of the Hunan Daily Press Group, the Changsha High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Investment Cooperation Bureau, and the Hunan Lugu Development Group Co., Ltd., attended.

The Hunan Media Art Industrial Park is located at the intersection of Dongfanghong Road and Huangjing Avenue in the Changsha High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. It is a cultural industry project approved by the Hunan Provincial State-owned Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and a key project supported by the Changsha High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. It is developed, constructed, and operated by the Hunan Media Art Industry Development Co., Ltd., which was jointly funded by the Hunan Daily Press Group and the Changsha Lugu Industrial Development Co., Ltd.

The project covers an area of about 78 mu (5.2 ha.), with a total investment of 620 million yuan. It will be the first core park for the media and art industry in Hunan province, with a total construction area of 166,000 square meters. The project includes multi-functional buildings and supporting facilities such as multi-storey factories, high-rise factories, production and research buildings, dormitories, canteens, and underground parking lots. The park will provide modern and multi-functional innovative and entrepreneurial platforms and comprehensive service systems for technological media, the Internet, electronic information industry, and intelligent sci-tech innovation enterprises. Upon completion, the park will attract more than 300 enterprises to locate and the annual output value will be over 800 million yuan.

It was said that the project will give full play to Changsha's brand advantages of the City of Media Arts; rely on the communication power, influence, credibility, and resource advantages of Hunan Daily Press Group; and, fully use Changsha Lugu Industrial Development Co., Ltd.’s professional advantages of park development, industry introduction, and business incubation, to gather a group of influential and innovative enterprises on media, technology, culture and creation, Internet, Internet of Things, big data and cloud computing. It aims to make itself a new landmark of Hunan's cultural industry.
