Hunan, CMC to Further Collaboration

The Hunan Provincial People’s Government and the China Minmetals Corporation (CMC) had a meeting in Changsha on December 24, 2018. The two sides exchanged ideas on further deepening cooperation between government and enterprise; accelerating the existing projects implementation; and, promoting enterprise’s high-quality development. Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe, CMC General Manager Guo Wenqing, and Vice Governor Chen Fei attended.
 
CMC now has 128 companies in Hunan, initially forming the four major industries layout of "great non-ferrous" metal, new materials and energy, infrastructure and new urbanization construction, and financial services. Hunan, hometown of non-ferrous metals, has gathered a large number of enterprises operating CMC’s core business and 13 national-level innovation platforms. It boasts CMC’s production and technology center.
 
At the end of this month, the CMC Hengyang Shuikoushan Copper-Pb-Zinc Industrial Base Zinc Project and the Changsha Wangcheng New Energy Materials Industrial Base Phase I project will be put into operation. This is CMC’s new step to implement industrial upgrading in Hunan. This will effectively promote the development of related industries in Hunan.
