The Fourth Congress of the Hunan Supply and Marketing Cooperatives convened in Changsha on June 24, 2021. Xu Dazhe, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee; and Han Liping, secretary of the CPC Leadership Group and deputy director of the Board of Directors of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Before the meeting, Xu Dazhe, Han Liping, Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province, met with the delegates.

Provincial leaders Wu Lan, Zhang Jianfei, Ye Hongzhuan, Sui Zhongcheng, and Lai Mingyong; and Hou Shunli, member of the CPC Leadership Group and deputy director of the Board of Directors of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, attended the opening ceremony and joined the meeting.

This was the first time that Hunan Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperatives convened such a congress again in 23 years. It will review the work report of the Board of Directors of the Hunan Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, the work report of the Board of Supervisors, and the Regulations of Hunan Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (Revised Draft). It will also elect the fourth board of directors and supervisors.
