The second plenary meeting of the Third Session of the 13^th Hunan Provincial People’s Congress opens at the People’s Hall of Hunan Province on January 15, 2020.

Seven hundred and sixty-one deputies should be present at the session, and 721 attended. The total number meets legal requirement.

The executive chairpersons of the second plenary meeting were: Huang Guanchun, Guo Zhenggui, Qu Hai, Ma Shicheng, Wang Gang, Wang Xiong, Wang Yiou, Wang Changyi, Wang Jianping, Wang Shanping, Mao Tengfei, Shi Yanping, Liu Fei, Liu Mingjian, Yan Hua, Hu Qiuling, Xu Keqin, Gao Yi, and Peng Jianzhong. Huang Guanchun presided over the meeting.

Liu Lianyu, Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee (HPPCSC) deputy director, was commissioned by HPPCSC to make the report on the work of the congress.

Tian Liwen, Hunan Provincial Higher People’s Court president, delivered the report on the work of the court.

Ye Xiaoying, Hunan Provincial People’s Procuratorate acting procurator general, made the report on the work of the procuratorate.
