During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Day holiday between October 1 and 8, the China-Europe freight train service in Changsha kept operating around the clock, injecting strong momentum to the steady growth of foreign trade in Hunan Province.

According to the Central South China International Land Port Company Limited, during the eight-day holiday, Changsha has handled 17 China-Europe freight train trips in total, marking a year-on-year increase of 30.77%. The throughput of shipping containers amounted to 1,436, growing 28.9%, while the total cargo weight rising 61.7% to 10,400 tonnes.
