The “Yuelu Mountain - Bamian Mountain” Longshan County Tourism Year was launched in Changsha on May 10. The 2021 Longshan County Cultural Tourism Promotion Activity was held simultaneously. The first Changsha-Longshan tourist-dedicated train, carrying more than 200 tourists, left the Changsha Railway Station that day.

The Changsha-Longshan special tourist trains run along the Qianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway, and stop at Yiyang, Changde, Zhangjiajie and Longshan North Railway Stations. The train C8069 leaves Changsha at 8:10 a.m., and the return train C8071 leaves Longshan County at 12:25 p.m. The one-way journey takes about 3.5 hours.

Longshan County enjoys many well-known tourism resources, including:
-Liye-Wulong Mountain National Scenic Area;

-Bamian Mountain, known as a “Southern Grassland in the Air”;
-Liye Ancient Town, one of the four ancient towns in Xiangxi;

During the promotion activity, Longshan County announced three fine tourist routes--namely, a red or revolutionary tour, a study tour and a mind refreshing tour, and a series of preferential tourism policies for Changsha residents.
