The Hubei Provincial Party and Government Delegation visited Hunan Province on March 17 and 18, 2021. On the afternoon of March 17, both sides held a symposium on cooperation, development, and exchange in Changsha.

Xu Dazhe, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee secretary and Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee director, and his Hubei counterpart Ying Yong, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Mao Weiming, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary and Hunan governor, and his Hubei counterpart Wang Xiaodong, respectively introduced the economic and social development of Hunan and Hubei Provinces. Li Weiwei, CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee chairwoman, and her Hubei counterpart Huang Chuping, attended.

The delegation surveyed the Changsha CEC Software Park.

During their stay, the delegation visited CRCHI, Sany Group, Zoomlion, Changsha CEC Software Park, Farsoon High-Tech, Aerospace Huanyu, 58 Town, and Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Park. They learned about the achievements of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone and the development of construction machinery, additive manufacturing, aerospace, Internet technology, and cultural and creative industries.

Hubei provincial leaders Wang Ruilian, Wang Ling, Wang Zhonglin, Li Lecheng, Liu Xuerong, Ke Jun, and Zhang Weiguo joined the inspection tour. Hunan provincial leaders Wu Lan, Xie Jianhui, Zhang Jianfei, Wu Guiying, Liu Lianyu, and Chen Fei attended the symposium or accompanied them on the tour.
