Hunan Geological Museum Requires 1-Day Advance Booking from August 1

The Hunan Geological Museum announced that starting from August 1, visitors need to book tickets online a day ahead. The museum limits the number of daily visitors to 3000 per day. It will ensure the orderly open of the site according to the requirements of epidemic control and prevention.


Offline ticket windows will be temporarily closed from August 1. Visitors can book tickets via the WeChat official account of “湖南省地质博物馆”. As the summer vacation comes, the number of visitors per day will be increased to 3,000 (1,500 in the morning, 1,500 in the afternoon). 

The museum opens green channel for people with special needs, including the elderly aged 60 and above, the disabled, military personnel, pregnant women, and medical staff.

Those taking part in science popularization activities need to show their valid QR codes and follow a tutor to the museum. 

Visitors need to wear masks and show their health QR codes before entering.
