On the evening of July 20 local time, the award ceremony of the World Circus Art Festival "IDOL-2025" was held at the Bolshoi Moscow Circus in Russia. The original acrobatic performance titled "Charm of Chinese Opera" by the Hunan Acrobatic Art Theatre won the "Bronze Idol" award in the professional category.

The "Charm of Chinese Opera" integrated Hunan's provincial-level intangible cultural heritage representative item—the art of contortion, with traditional opera elements at its core. Through their graceful and powerful display, the young performers depicted the vibrant imagery of "spring shoots breaking through the soil," which served as a symbol for the vigor of new life.

The show featured composite techniques, such as multi-person coordinated balancing and impressive contortion performances, earning high praise from the judges for brilliant acrobatic skills and artistic expressiveness.

Edgard Zapashny, director of the Bolshoi Moscow Circus, spoke highly of the creativity of Chinese acrobatic feats and the breathtaking performances of Chinese acrobats. He highlighted that China annually sends highly skilled performers to Russia's World Circus Art Festival, which significantly aids the worldwide exchange of circus arts.
