Li Dianxun Meets Guests Attending Thematic Forum on Culture Inheritance and Innovation

Li Dianxun, on behalf of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People's Government, welcomed the guests. Li noted that young people are the future of mankind and exchanges among youths are of great significance and have a far-reaching impact on promoting the common development of mankind and the progress of civilization. He expected that all distinguished guests and young people of various countries will share cultural responsibilities and missions under the theme of cultural inheritance and innovation, promoting cultural fusion among all ethnic groups and the integration of culture and technology. Li encouraged the youths to pursue their own development while boosting global development, laying solid material and technological foundations and providing spiritual support for building a community with a shared future for humanity. He added that Hunan is rich in science and education resources and has a good industrial foundation, playing a vital role in China's regional economy. Currently the province is promoting in-depth reform and high-level opening up in a coordinated manner, advancing high-quality development. Li invited youngsters from various countries to invest in, start businesses, and tour around Hunan, carrying out pragmatic cooperation in such fields as culture, sci-tech, education, health, and environmental protection.


Guests including Fatou Sow Sarr, commissioner for human development and social affairs of the ECOWAS Commission, hoped to strengthen exchanges with Hunan in economy and trade, culture, and youth entrepreneurship and employment, boosting mutual cooperation and creating a better future.
