Governor Xu Talks with Hunan Medical Personnel in Huanggang Through Online Video

Governor Xu communicates through online video with Hunan medical personnel who were providing medical aid in Huanggang, Hubei.

On February 16 afternoon, Xu Dazhe, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary and Hunan governor, held a teleconference at the Remote Consultation Center of Hunan Health Commission. He cheered up and expressed his greetings to Hunan medical staff who were providing medical aid in Huanggang, Hubei. He also discussed work for the next step with responsible comrades of the Huanggang Municipal People’s Government and commanders of the Hunan medical team in support of Huanggang.

The Hunan Work Steering Group under the State Council's joint prevention and control mechanism for the COVID-19 epidemic and Vice Governor Wu Guiying attended the teleconference. CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee Vice Chairman Zhang Jian, who was entrusted by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People's Government to visit frontline medical staff in Huanggang, also attended.

Hunan has sent three batches of 474 medical workers to Huanggang on January 25, January 28 and February 11 respectively, and set up a frontline headquarters for the aid efforts there. During the teleconference, Governor Xu heard the work reports of the frontline headquarters and the Hunan medical detachment in support of Hong’an County, Huanggang. The Medical staff expressed that they are in high spirits and will continue to devote themselves to medical treatment.
