How can your voice be heard in Hunan? The "I Have Golden Ideas" campaign offers a direct channel. Since its launch in 2019, this campaign has become a prominent brand for government-citizen interaction in Hunan and a vital platform for soliciting public ideas and pooling collective wisdom. Statistics show that over the past seven years, a cumulative total of 531 high-quality "golden ideas" submitted by internet users have been included into the provincial government work reports. Numerous other suggestions have been thoroughly studied, responded to, and addressed by relevant departments, effectively driving policy optimization and resolving practical issues.
There are 20 topics waiting for your suggestions and opinions.
This year's topics have been set through in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, President Xi Jinping's important speeches and directives concerning Hunan's work, and the Ninth Plenary Session of the 12th CPC Hunan Provincial Committee. All of the topics are centered on building Hunan into a national hub for important and advanced manufacturing industries, a sci-tech and innovation center with core competitiveness, and a pacesetter for reform and opening-up of China's inland regions. There are 20 topics set for soliciting opinions and suggestions on the work of the government in 2026, including policy implementation, environmental optimization, the digital economy, people's livelihood improvement, and social governance. New topics such as population development and public resource allocation, advancing the "AI Plus" initiative, and boosting consumption and enhancing investment efficiency have also been added. If internet users' opinions and suggestions do not fit into the above topics, they may select the "other" option for submission. Each comment should not exceed 100 Chinese characters.
Participation is quite simple, and you can see the whole process.
To enhance accessibility, the campaign features a dedicated column across multiple online platforms such as the provincial government web portal, WeChat, and Weibo, the Hunantoday App, as well as the "Xiang Yi Ban" Super Service App. This enables multi-channel, convenient login, and idea submission. The special column will be retained and optimized, displaying selected "golden ideas" and their implementation progress, while continuously tracking feedback to effectively share interactive stories.
