Four stations on Changsha Metro Line 1 are out of service from May 9 to June 7 due to the installation of fully-enclosed sound barriers. The four stations are Guihuaping, Datuo, Zhongxin Square, and Shangshuangtang. The Changsha Public Transportation Group announced recently that 50 shuttle buses with special slogans will be provided to assist commuters who are affected by this adjustment.
Buses bound for Shangshuangtang are scheduled to depart from Exit No. 2 of Provincial Government Station, pass through Furong Road, and ultimately arrive at Exit No. 1 of Shangshuangtang Station. Bus stations along the route are Provincial Government Station, Shanmuchong Station, Guihuaping Station, Queyuan Road Automobile Block North Station, Furong Road Belt Highway Intersection Station, Datuo Station, Xiangfu Middle School West Gate Station, Zhongxin Square Station (Hunan Friendship & Apollo Outlets Station), Furong Road Huanbao Avenue Station, and Shangshuangtang Station (Xinlucun Station).
Buses bound for Kaifu District Government are scheduled to depart from Exit No. 3 of Shangshuangtang Station, pass through Furong Road, and ultimately arrive at Exit No. 3 of Provincial Government Station. Bus stations along the route are Shangshuangtang Station (Xinlucun Station), Furong Road Huanbao Avenue Station, Zhongxin Square Station (Hunan Friendship & Apollo Outlets Station), Xiangfu Middle School West Gate Station, Datuo Station, Furong Road Belt Highway Intersection Station, Queyuan Road Automobile Block North Station, Guihuaping Station, Shanmuchong Station, and Provincial Government Station.
Service hours of buses bound for Shangshuangtang are between 6:30 and 23:40, and that of buses bound for Kaifu District Government are between 6:00 and 22:30. The bus fare is 2 yuan per person.
The Changsha Public Transportation Group has stated that all bus stations along the routes are conveniently located near the four suspended stations. Staff members are available to assist passengers during their rides, and passengers can choose the routes that best meet their needs.
