TF1, one of the most influential television channels in France, featured a news coverage of Via Ferrata, a special outdoor experiential activity on Qixing Mountain in Zhangjiajie, on its flagship news programme Le 20 Heures at 20:00 on July 29 Paris time. 

The news coverage focused on Via Ferrata on Qixing Mountain as a cliff climbing experience which combines thrilling adventure with magnificent natural scenery. It showed French audience the breathtaking scene where participants climbed the cliff safely with the help of a variety of tools fixed to the cliff, such as steel handrails, footrests, and safety wire ropes, and under professional guidance. Meanwhile, the footage captured tremendous views of the Via Ferrata route winding through Zhangjiajie's quartz sandstone peak forest landform featuring towering peaks and a sea of clouds.
