The 19th Hunan Botanical Garden Cherry Blossom Festival kicked off on March 15 morning, as part of the 2023 Hunan Eco-tourism Festival.

Early-season cherry varieties are in full bloom, attracting numerous tourists. It is expected that the cherry blossom season will last from late February to mid-April.

The event will run from March to May. During the period, the Hunan Botanical Garden will also launch five flower exhibitions featuring cherry blossoms, tulips, peach blossoms, azaleas and roses, respectively. A wide variety of flowers at the garden will be in full bloom successively, offering tourists a feast of flowers.

Before visiting, tourists are advised to make a reservation via the garden's official WeChat account and plan the itinerary well.
