This year, seizing the opportunities brought by the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, and Television has introduced a dedicated cultural tourism service window.

Here, national and provincial gold-medal foreign language tour guides like Hu Shishan, Xu Kuo, and Dai Zhen provide on-site support, to help address practical concerns such as transportation, communication, and payment for international guests.

Foreign visitors can make a reservation for gold-medal tour guides proficient in languages such as English, Russian, and Japanese online, through the WeChat mini-program "Changsha Guide Service [长沙导服]", a one-click reservation system (trial). These guides offer personalized itinerary planning, cultural explanations and other "one-on-one" services. Ten certified gold-medal tour guides, including Hu Shishan, Luo Shuang, and Tian Li, became the first batch of tour guides available for booking.

The service window actively promotes Changsha's cultural tourism resources to international visitors through multilingual brochures, joint exhibitions of key scenic spots, and customized travel route recommendations. Additionally, the service window collaborates with venues such as the Changsha Museum and the Tongguan Kiln Scenic Area to showcase Changsha's unique cultural features.
