According to the China Southern Airlines (CSA) Hunan Branch on June 21 that preparations for the 2026 summer travel season are underway. To meet passenger travel demand during the summer season, CSA is significantly increasing capacity deployment in Hunan, adding new routes from Changsha to Singapore, Hohhot, and Altay to further enrich travel options for passengers.
The Changsha–Singapore route will operate from July 2 to August 29, with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Outbound flight CZ8087 departs Changsha at 21:00 and arrives at Singapore Changi Airport at 01:40 local time the following day. The return flight CZ8088 departs Singapore at 02:45 local time every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, arriving back in Changsha at 07:35. The flight follows an evening departure and morning return schedule, enabling passengers to complete their journey at night. This helps balance travel efficiency and experience, making it suitable for business travelers and short-term leisure passengers.
The Changsha–Hohhot route will operate one flight daily from June 22 to October 24. Outbound flight CZ5339 departs Changsha at 10:50 and arrives in Hohhot at 13:15, while the return flight CZ5340 departs Hohhot at 14:40 and arrives back in Changsha at 17:15. Currently, Hohhot is in its best travel season, and this route offers Changsha residents a direct flight to deeply experience Mongolian folk culture and the vast grassland scenery.
The Changsha–Altay route will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from July 1 to October 23. Outbound flight CZ5419 departs Changsha at 14:40 and arrives in Altay at 19:55, while the return flight CZ5420 departs Altay at 21:00 and arrives back in Changsha at 01:50 the following day. Located in northern Xinjiang, Altay is now connected to Changsha via this convenient air corridor, offering passengers the opportunity to conveniently experience Xinjiang's magnificent scenery.
