A new Changsha-Zhuzhou intercity bus route is set to start trial operation on September 12. This route is co-operated by the Longxiang Group of the Changsha Communications Investment Holding Group and ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing (DiDi). During the trial operation period from September 12 to October 11, discount tickets will be available which will be priced at 9.9 yuan per person.
This is the first intercity bus route linking Changsha and Zhuzhu which allows passengers to be picked up and dropped off at any stop along the route. Presale ticketing began on September 10. Passenger can choose their preferred pick-up stops and book tickets via the WeChat mini program or app of "滴滴出行 (DiDi)", or the WeChat public account of Longxiang Group.
Along the route, there are nine stops in the two core areas of Changsha and Zhuzhou cities. The Changsha-to-Zhuzhou bus pulls out of the parking square across from the Hunan Xiangya Hospital, passes through Houjiatang, Taskin Mall, Changsha Commerce and Tourism College, Zhuzhou Vocational Education Town, Hongqi Square, Central Square, and Zhuzhou Municipal People's Government, and concludes at its terminal, Hunan University of Technology. Twenty-four bus trips will be operated on the two-way courses along the route every day, to facilitate passengers' intercity travels.
Departure times of the intercity buses:
Changsha-to-Zhuzhou buses: 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:30, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, and 19:00.
Zhuzhou-to-Changsha buses: 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:30, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, and 19:00.
