Basic Information

Yueyang Sanhe Airport, a 4C-level civil airport, commenced operations on December 26, 2018. Located in Xitang Town, Yueyang City, it covers an area of 2,273 mu (approximately 151.5 hectares). The airport features a runway measuring 2,600 meters in length and 45 meters in width, along with a terminal building of 9,000 square meters. The parking apron includes eight Class C stands (three with air bridges), one Class B stand, and six Class A stands, enabling the handling of aircraft such as the Boeing 737-800, Airbus A321, and smaller models. On June 28, 2024, the Yueyang Municipal Government and Hunan Airport Management Group officially signed a trusteeship agreement, placing Yueyang Airport under the management and operation of Hunan Airport Group.
