Jiangyong Nvshu Ecological Museum

Jiangyong Nvshu Ecological Museum scenic area was established in October 2002 and was designated as a national 3A-level tourist attraction in 2013. The scenic area covers an area of 1,800 mu, or 120 hectares, with the Nvshu Garden covering a floor area of 2,500 square meters and a building area of 1,600 square meters. The Nvshu Garden is built based on Ming and Qing-era traditional houses in southern Hunan.

The museum takes protecting and inheriting Nvshu culture as the mission to ensure its authenticity, integrity, and originality. It stands as Hunan's first "living museum" at the village level. The Nvshu Garden records, stores, and displays original Nvshu documents, works, crafts, calligraphy, academic research results, and folk customs through physical objects, texts, images, audio, and videos. It comprehensively introduces the profound connotations and unique charm of Nvshu culture.

Nvshu is known as the only existing women's script in the world and an important cultural treasure.
