Recently, a Hunan cuisine tasting event themed "Fire in Hunan" was held at the Junting Chinese Restaurant (Xiangjiang Haosheng Branch) in Changsha. International students from Iran, Iraq, Syria, and other Middle Eastern countries gathered to savor the unique flavors of Hunan cuisine.
At the event, the head chef prepared a variety of Hunan dishes, including oil-drenched eco-friendly chili peppers, snowflake beef, and stir-fried pumpkin with chopped chili. During the tasting, the students expressed their admiration repeatedly, sharing their love for Hunan cuisine.
The tasting event served as a prelude to "The Taste of Hunan in the Middle East" Activity. In early September, a group of leading Hunan cuisine enterprises will travel to Dubai, UAE to showcase the unique charm of Hunan dishes and Hunan's profound culinary culture, promoting the "going global" process of the Hunan cuisine industry.
