Recently Yueyang has released 20 measures to attract and cultivate talents. Yueyangese working outside the city and non-locals working in the city were greatly inspired by the measures.

This June Ganin Vladimir from Russia became the first holder of Yueyang green card. Currently he teaches at Hunan Institute of Science and Technology. Ganin Vladimir said, “Yueyang has beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural heritage. It is not only a good place for living, but also a magnet for talents for innovation and entrepreneurship.” He continued that the measures gave him more confidence in presenting Yueyang to his friends and would attract more foreigners to start up businesses. “Talents are the foundation for local’s development. I have been working and living in Yueyang for 18 years. I like its mountains, rivers, and people. I am willing to introduce Yueyang to my friends. I hope more people will develop in Yueyang after the implementation of the measures. Wish Yueyang a brighter future.”
