Founded in 2010, Changsha WES Academy (CWA) is an international school for the children of expatriates and returned overseas Chinese talents in Hunan Province. It uses English as the primary language of instruction.

Changsha is a bustling, internationally expanding market that provides foreign companies with investment opportunities. CWA was established in order to support this growth by attracting more foreign investors to Changsha City and Hunan Province at large.

Currently, CWA offers an international curriculum for children aged 3 to 19. It approved as an International School by the PRC Ministry of Education and an accredited member of the Council of International Schools (CIS). In May 2014, the International Baccalaureate Organization authorized CWA as a Primary Years Programme, International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.
