The Business Matching of China-Africa Economic and Trade & Livelihood Cooperation Event was held in Changsha on July 24, 2024. Many Chinese and foreign businesses participated, seeking partners and collaboration opportunities to achieve win-win development.
Fifty enterprises and institutions from Hunan Province and other domestic regions attended, including the Sany Group, the China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corporation Limited (CRCHI), and the Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG). They set up booths and display shelves, showcasing their core products and overseas service capabilities in such fields as machinery manufacturing, energy and electric power, housing, road and bridge construction, agriculture and seed industry, information technology, e-commerce, education and training, and culture and media.
A Kenyan guest carefully observed the exquisite suitcases and bags displayed at the booth of the Hunan Xiangtong Industrial Co., Ltd. "I like these luggage cases, and I will take one back to my country. For me, made-in-China is the best. I love it", he said.
Another Kenyan guest paid close attention to the clean water source projects, and planned to introduce outstanding enterprises and quality projects to Kenya.
A guest from Cameroon was impressed by the new experience of Chinese modernization, and hoped that Cameroon will draw on China's experience of development.
Sinocare, a biosensing technology company, has been operating in Africa for seven years. Its glucometers and other medical devices cover more than 80% of the African market. Some guests from North African countries such as Morocco learned about the functions and prices of the glucometers in detail, and expressed their hope that these made-in-China products would be available for purchase in their countries.
