Between May 4 and 5, 2024, the Hunan Art Troupe attended the Performances for the Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Friendly Exchange and the 5th Anniversary of Sisterhood between Manatuto Province of Timor-Leste and Hunan Province in Manatuto Province of Timor-Leste on invitation. The art troupe staged wonderful performances under the theme of "Deep Affection for Hunan," signifying their return to Timor-Leste five years later upon another invitation. 

The performance crew consisted of artists from Hunan Performing Arts Group's Hunan Provincial Song and Dance Theater and Hunan Acrobatic Art Theater. A variety of performances were staged to display Hunan characteristics, including dancing, singing, acrobatic shows, and sheng and suona (traditional Chinese music instruments) performances. 

Hunan artists also presented a folk song from Timor-Leste titled "Farmers" to promote the friendship between the Chinese and Timorese people. The heartfelt performance resonated so deeply that the local public enthusiastically joined the artists in the chorus, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The amazing performances were highly praised by local people.
