On the evening of November 28, with the final set of turnouts precisely connected to the existing tracks, the main structure of the Huaihua International Land Port Dedicated Railway Line was fully completed. The line is constructed by the China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group. 

The successful connection signifies a major progress in the development of this land port hub. It not only adds key infrastructure to enhance the regional logistics system but also injects new, powerful momentum into Huaihua's deep integration into the national Belt and Road Initiative and its role in serving the strategy of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. 

The Huaihua International Land Port Dedicated Railway Line. 

This dedicated line is situated in the core transportation hub of the Huaihua International Land Port, spanning approximately 1.37 kilometers. It plays a pivotal role in establishing regional rail transport micro-circulation and connecting to the national trunk railway network. The construction encompasses embankments, bridges and culverts, station yards, tracks, and the integration of the "four systems" (signal, communication, power, and electrification), featuring high technical standards and complex system integration.

"The construction work is like performing 'delicate surgery' alongside existing rail lines, posing immense safety pressures," explained the project manager from the China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group. The greatest challenge lies in the fact that the entire route is adjacent to operational lines, with the closest sections just meters away from busy lines like the Shanghai-Kunming High-Speed Railway. The construction team developed specialized construction plans, implemented real-time monitoring technology, and enforced full-process protection during all railway maintenance window periods. This approach ultimately achieved the dual objectives of "zero interference" with operational lines and "zero safety accidents."

As vital infrastructure for advancing high-standard opening-up in inland regions, the successful completion of the main structure for the Huaihua International Land Port Dedicated Railway Line marks a key milestone in Huaihua's deep integration into the national Belt and Road Initiative and its contribution to the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. Upon full operation, the project will significantly optimize the cargo collection and distribution system of the port, enhance its capacity to drive regional industries, inject strong momentum into building a modern logistics system and creating a hub of reform and opening up in inland regions, and provide solid support for the Huaihua International Land Port to achieve its strategic goals of becoming the "100-million-tonne port" and fostering "one-billion-yuan industry."
