The Quality African Products Online Shopping Festival, part of the 3rd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, opened in Changsha on the afternoon of June 28, 2023. Chinese people can buy more than 100 kinds of quality African products online at home.  

"This is wild purple tea from Kenya. We invite you all to purchase and taste it." In the afternoon, South African Ambassador to China Siyabonga Cwele visited a livestreaming room and enthusiastically introduced African specialty products such as rooibos tea and coffee beans to netizens. The atmosphere in the livestreaming room was exceptionally lively during the interactive presentation of the ambassador and the livestreamer. Over 100 live promotional activities are scheduled to be organized during the online shopping festival.

Five well-known enterprises signed strategic cooperation agreements on quality African products marketing on the site, facilitating the sales of African products in Hunan markets.

The shopping festival features many top-selling African products and is held both online and offline. Influential livestreamers from China and Africa will promote high-quality African products and introduce coffee, black tea, and wine from Africa. Hunan will give full play to its advantages in market, e-commerce, and innovation, to energize consumption, strengthen trade ties with Africa, and promote trade between Hunan and African countries.
