3rd CAETE Guidebook for Public Visitors

The Third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE) is scheduled to be held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center from June 29 to July 2, 2023. If you are planning to visit the exhibition, you may be wondering whether it is free to visit the exhibition and how to buy goodies from Africa. Please check the following reservation tips offered by the organizing committee.


This year's expo will open to the public from 9:00 to 17:30 on July 1 and from 9:00 to 16:00 on July 2.


The public can make free reservations before visiting the exhibition, either online or on-site. The online reservation channel will be available from 9:00 on June 20 until 18:00 on July 1. Reservations must be made one day in advance, with a daily limit of 20,000 visitors. Those visitors without advance reservations can still make reservations on site at the North Square of the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. Visitors should scan the QR code to make a reservation and enter using facial recognition and an ID card after a successful reservation. The daily limit is 5,000 people.


There are three ways to make a reservation online:

- Visit the official CAETE website at https://www.caetexpo.org.cn and click the "public exhibition appointment entrance" to make a reservation;

- Search the CAETE WeChat public account, and click "Service Guide" to make a reservation; and,

- Download the "Xiang Yi Ban" APP from the mobile APP store, register, log in, and select "3rd CAETE" on the home page to make an appointment.


The 2023 CAETE main venue will consist of a comprehensive pavilion, an African enterprise and commodity pavilion, a Chinese enterprise and commodity pavilion, a Chinese provincial, regional, and municipal pavilion, a domestic and foreign trade integration pavilion, and an outdoor exhibition area.
