When watched from the peak of Mount Yuelu, Orange Isle appears as a black silk ribbon lying in the middle of the Xiangjiang River, and as a dark yellowish-green barrier when seen from the river bank. It is currently the peak season for outings, and many tourists are visiting the Orange Isle or taking the cruise ships to enjoy the scenery.

How to visit:
Visitors are required to make a reservation in advance via the official WeChat account of "Yuelu Mountain Orange Isle Tourist Area [岳麓山橘子洲旅游区]", and show their valid documents including ID cards or scan a reservation code before entering.
