At 11:40 on March 3, some Hunan-based National People's Congress (NPC) deputies arrived at the Beijing Daxing International Airport via the China Southern Airlines Flight CZ3717. They were ready to attend the national annual two sessions. Deputies Zhang Qingwei, Mao Weiming, and other delegates arrived by the same plane.

During the flight, the deputies shared their performance experiences and discussed proposals and suggestions. Their topics included rural revitalization, common prosperity, improving the population services system with a focus on elderly care and child care, and easing the burden of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education. They had candid conversations on people's livelihood which all conveyed their firm belief of shouldering responsibility and caring for the will of the people.

Walking down the gangway, the deputies remarked that they will actively make suggestions, perform their duties, and strive to exercise the power entrusted by the people.
