Kashif Shakoor, also known as Dai Yu in Chinese, is an international student from Pakistan. He is currently studying clinical medicine at Hunan Normal University. After living in Changsha for five years, he refers to Changsha as his second hometown. During his participation in the 2023 International Youth Forum on Creativity and Heritage Along the Silk Roads & Changsha Media Arts Festival, held in Changsha, he expressed his deep affection for China and Changsha, stating, "I love China and Changsha as much as my own country". He will pursue postgraduate studies at Central South University upon graduation from Hunan Normal University this year.
