Algerian Ambassador to China Hassane Rabehi: We like spicy food. Friends from Hunan who like spicy food too are warmly welcomed.

Algeria is the largest country in Africa, but much of its territory is covered by deserts, forests, and Stipa tenuissima plants. It boasts 1,200 kilometres of beautiful coastline and seven natural and cultural sites on UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Hassane Rabehi: Hunan is the hometown of China's late Chairman Mao Zedong. This is my first visit to Hunan. I am very excited. We have many unique agricultural products, including grain, vegetables, grapes, citrus, and dates. Our wine is delicious and unique. We open our doors wide to Chinese investors.

Algeria is a very charming country, where you can feel the romantic feelings of Mediterranean countries everywhere. The people are very hospitable, and the two things we must have are flowers and dances. We like sour and spicy food. Welcome to Algeria, my Hunan friends who also like spicy food.
