Rwandan Commercial Counsellor to China Samuel Abikunda: I am deeply impressed by delicious Hunan food.

Rwanda is a landlocked country on the south side of the Equator in central and eastern Africa. Its economy is dominated by agriculture and animal husbandry. Most of its industrial products are imported from China and India.

Samuel Abikunda: Rwanda's economic growth is fast, and the investment prospects are promising. To attract foreign investment, Rwanda has set up an investment promotion agency and implemented a series of policies to attract foreign investment. In Rwanda, for example, business registration can be completed online in less than six hours.

This is my third visit to Hunan. I am deeply impressed by the warm people and delicious Hunan food. Rwanda and Hunan have conducted extensive cooperation in many fields. Several Hunan enterprises have invested in Rwanda and participated in its infrastructure construction. In 2021, the Changsha Customs issued an inspection and quarantine certificate for 200 kilograms of dried chilli peppers from Rwanda. This was the first time China imported dried chilli peppers from Africa. It has dramatically facilitated the trade cooperation between Rwanda and Hunan.
