According to the Changsha Commerce Bureau, 38 projects worth 27.36 billion CNY were contracted during the Hunan-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Investment and Trade Conference. Among them, there were five provincial-level projects signed at the Hunan-GBA Cooperation & Project Signing Ceremony, with a total investment of 18.2 billion CNY.

 

Those contracted projects were characterized by:

-GBA enterprises. There were more than 30 projects invested by GBA enterprises, accounting for up to 79%, such as the Baoneng Logistics Central China Headquarters and Intelligent Manufacturing Center project.

 

-Fortune Global 500 companies. There were 7 projects invested by Fortune Global 500 companies, such as the Xiangjiang Intelligent Valley Artificial Intelligence Technology Town project. Among these Fortune Global 500 companies, Royal Dutch Shell Group of Dutch and Aeon Group of Japan invested in Hunan for the first time.

 

-Intelligent manufacturing. There were 21 intelligent manufacturing projects, such as Desai Battery Wangcheng Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park.

 

-Reinvestment. In recent years, investors have highly recognized Changsha and increased reinvestment in Changsha, such as BYD, Gree, and Shanshan Energy.
