On April 15, the Changsha Tianxin (Shenzhen) Investment Promotion Conference and the Major Projects Signing Ceremony were held in Shenzhen. The Tianxin Economic Development Zone (TEDZ) in Changsha signed 16 project agreements with key enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), with a contract value totaling 11 billion CNY. 

 

Located in the south of Changsha, Tianxin District is the seat of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government. It is also a key place for Hunan to accelerate the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster integrated development. 

 

At present, the district is doing its best to optimize business environment, accelerate industrial park upgrading, strengthen infrastructure construction, and improve supporting services. It is also striving to build a Hunan Geographic Information Industrial Park and a Hunan Human Resources Service Industrial Park.

 

At the signing ceremony that day, TEDZ signed contracts with a group of GBA enterprises, including Beijing Kingsoft Cloud Network Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Geotechnical Investigation & Surveying Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. These projects will fuel the development of Tianxin District.

 

“GBA is the first pilot area for China's reform and opening-up and modernization. It is an important international gateway, and one of the most economically-active region in the world. It is also Tianxin District’s major source of investment,” said Zhu Dongtie, secretary of the CPC Tianxin District Committee. He added that, in recent years, there have been increasingly frequent economic activities, fruitful economic and trade cooperation, and deepened relationship between Tianxin District and GBA. This conference concentrates on both exchange and cooperation. He firmly believed that the economic and trade exchanges between the two places will enter a new stage.
