China’s First Middle-low Speed Maglev Train Starts Test Run

Changsha Maglev Train launched a test run from Chagnsha South Railway Station to its intermediate stop Langli Station on Nov. 23. Initially constructed on May 16, 2014, the 18.55 km-long maglev train project is China’s first commercial middle-low speed maglev line as well as the longest of its kind in the world. It starts from Changsha South Railway Station and ends at Huanghua International Airport with a maximum speed of 100 kilometers per hour.
