On October 10, the Second Changsha China-Germany Beer Culture Promotion Season and the Global Food Cultural Block Investment Promotion Event kicked off at the Zurbrüggen Beer Plaza in Yanghu area, Changsha, bringing residents a grand feast of global cuisine. Changsha Vice Mayor Zheng Ping attended.
The event is a key part of Changsha's campaign to boost consumption. By leveraging beer, football, and food, it aims to create a vibrant international consumer cultural festival. At the opening ceremony, Zurbrüggen Group's investment attraction policies for the Global Food Cultural Block were announced. Six brands signed agreements to settle in the block, marking substantial progress in the block's investment attraction efforts.
The event features five themed markets, namely, a global specialty food corridor, an international craft beer tasting zone, a Zurbrüggen night market food area, a Hunan Football League interactive area, and a Rhine cultural and creative market. The food corridor and beer tasting zone bring together flavors from around the world, allowing residents to enjoy German sausages and authentic craft beers while sampling local Changsha snacks. The Hunan Football League interactive area includes a knowledge quiz booth, offering unique consumer experiences.
The three-day event blends rich German traditions with modern trends and Chinese culture, providing residents with unique cross-cultural experiences. A secondary viewing site for the Hunan Football League matches is also available, where football fans can watch matches on giant HD screens and cheer for the players.
