An exhibition entitled "With My Heart -- Special Exhibition of Poetry on Porcelain of Changsha Kiln in the Tang Dynasty" opened at the Changsha Museum on November 29. The exhibition features a combination of Changsha Kiln porcelain ware, poetry, and calligraphy dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907), showing the multifaceted manifestations of Changsha during the Tang Dynasty. A total of 183 pieces or sets of cultural relics from 13 cultural venues and museums inside and outside the province are on display, including 74 poems, 22 prefaces, and 36 exotic fine products typically for export. Through the revitalization of characteristic cultural relics, the exhibition allows the audience to appreciate Tang poems inscribed on daily porcelain, feel the aesthetics of life and emotional expressions of Tang people, and witness the exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations facilitated by the Maritime Silk Road over a thousand years ago.
