Archaeological Exhibition of Chaoyang Alley Construction Site

On October 17, the Archaeological Exhibition of the Construction Site at Chaoyang Alley, South of the Former Residence of Jia Yi opened at the museum of Hunan Normal University. The exhibition is themed "The Residence of Jia Yi: A Thousand Years of Cultural Legacy". The archaeological discoveries from the construction site in Chaoyang Alley, located south of the Former Residence of Jia Yi, are being displayed for the first time, showcasing the achievements made during the 2022-2023 period. The exhibition features more than 150 pieces of valuable cultural relics including porcelain, bronze wares, and pottery, showcasing the development changes and life scenes of Changsha City. The exhibition opens to the public free of charge and will last till April 10, 2025. The photo shows a student viewing exhibits dating back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD).
