An exhibition featuring later works by Chinese artist Huang Yongyu kicked off at the Hunan Art Museum on September 29. More than 200 works created by the artist during his later years are on display, with subjects ranging from characters, flowers and landscapes to zodiac animals and wrestling.
The exhibition, based on an exhibition of Huang Yongyu's works held at the National Art Museum of China, is a special exhibition to mark the 5th anniversary of the opening of the Hunan Art Museum. It is also the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the artist's works in China.
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until November 24.
