3rd Yongzhou (Lanshan) International Leatherware, Bags and Suitcases Expo

The 3rd Yongzhou (Lanshan) International Leatherware, Bags and Suitcases Expo will open at the International Intelligent Logistics Park of the Lanshan County Leatherware, Bags and Suitcases Sci-tech Industrial Park, Yongzhou City, on March 24, 2023. It will last for four days. The expo's return comes after a one-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.

The expo was approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government, and organized by local municipal and county governments, commercial authorities, and related associations. It aims to facilitate development and communication of leatherware, bags and suitcases industry, and promote more related enterprises to join hands and support each other in developing business in Lanshan County, so as to construct an industrial system, extend industrial chain, and create brands of the leatherware, bags and suitcases industry.

Compared with the previous sessions, the expo this year will be larger in size and feature more participants. There will be nine main exhibition areas and one online exhibition. The exhibition area will cover more than 24,000 square meters in total. More than 200 experts and scholars of related industrial associations will be present and over 300 companies are anticipated to participate. An array of internationally influential and leading enterprises and brands will be displayed, such as Polomeisdo, Puma, Tovano, SUN EARTH, DE VRELI, LAXDN, and VALENTINO.

A series of activities will be held, including an opening ceremony, a signing ceremony of governmental departments-banks-enterprises cooperation projects, a procurement match-making meeting, a featured light industry investment promotion conference, "Lanshan Cup" leatherware designer competition award ceremony, and gourmet festival.

Firstly inaugurated in 2020, the Lanshan International Leatherware, Bags and Suitcases Expo had 8,000 enterprise participants and 651 exhibitors in the first two sessions. Twenty enterprises signed contracts on the site, with a total investment of 2.5 billion CNY. These have given an impetus to the marketing and development of leatherware, bags and suitcases industry, and attracted more companies to settle, and extend, reinforce, and upgrade the leatherware, bags and suitcases industrial chain.

In recent years, Lanshan County has made vigorously efforts to dovetail with the demands of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and received leatherware, bags and suitcases industrial relocation. It strives to extend the industrial chain, and has developed an industrial cluster of leatherware, bags and suitcases, toys, light textile, and shoemaking. More than 150 companies together formed a comprehensive industrial chain covering design, production and processing, part production, and e-commerce. The products have been exported to European, American, African, and ASEAN countries, as well as Japan and South Korea.
