BEIJING, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- China is set to formulate a plan this year aimed at enhancing energy conservation practices in central and state organs from 2025 to 2030, according to the National Government Offices Administration.

The plan will prioritize key areas such as optimizing the energy consumption structure of public institutions, reducing fossil fuel consumption, and advancing new energy and technologies.

In the meantime, the National Government Offices Administration will continue to promote energy and resource conservation as well as the ecological and environmental protection work of Chinese public institutions.

The administration plans to implement additional measures on public institutions in terms of energy and water saving. Efforts will also be made to minimize food waste and establish a recycling system for waste in public institutions.
