As the May Day holiday approaches, the China Southern Airlines Hunan Branch plans to add 48 extra flights between April 28 and May 8 to ensure smooth travel for passengers. A total of 2,120 flights will be operated during that period, with 190 arrivals and departures on daily average.

Domestic routes mainly cover southern and northern regions of China. The Changsha–Jieyang route will see 20 additional round‑trip flights, the Changsha–Sanya route will have 12 additional round‑trip flights, and the Changsha–Tianjin and Changsha–Guangzhou routes will operate with six additional flights each. These flights will further expand and intensify the route network for cultural tourism and business travel.

Meanwhile, international routes will continue to expand. On the basis of existing routes from Changsha to Nairobi, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, and Hanoi, the airline will add three round‑trip flights from Changsha to Singapore, offering passengers more cross‑border travel options.

During the holiday period, the China Southern Airlines will arrange two domestically-produced C919 large passenger aircrafts on routes from Changsha to the core hub cities including Beijing, Xi'an, and Guangzhou. Ten round‑trip flights between Changsha and Beijing Daxing International Airport will be secured daily.

The China Southern Airlines continues to optimize its services to improve passengers' travel experience. Travelers can purchase the "Air‑Rail Intermodal" product to enjoy seamless transfers between plane and train trips with a single ticket covering the entire journey. For international connecting flights, the airline offers a "Through Check‑in" service, streamlining procedures to make travels more worry‑free and efficient. At the same time, the China Southern Airlines will continue to provide the in-cabin pet carriage service, taking care of furry companions through the trips.
