The Huaihua International Land Port Domestic and Foreign Trade Service Center was inaugurated on March 20, offering a Huaihua solution to promote enterprise development based on the opening-up advantages of the port. More than an integrated high-quality service center, the center will serve as a "service station" to help enterprises go global.
The inauguration of the center is an innovative measure of Huaihua government in deepening the "Year of Serving Enterprises" initiative. Moreover, the center will become an important platform to activate the development of the land port and enhance the open economy, where enterprises can get "one-stop" access to comprehensive and professional services and linkages to global resources, to enhance their international competitiveness.
The center is oriented to providing fully developed one-stop services for global expansion, covering six core areas—policy, legal affairs, finance and taxation, market, human resources, and risk management. Through an "online platform + offline service sites + alliance of professional institutions" model, it establishes a full-chain, full-cycle, and global service system to facilitate enterprises' global expansion. Meanwhile, the center integrates multiple service units spanning commerce, customs, taxation, finance, and other sectors, offering one-stop services in customs declaration, inspection application, tax rebates, and financing. These measures will truly enable foreign trade enterprises to handle all procedures without leaving the port.
The Huaihua International Land Port is vibrant with energy for opening up. In 2025, the port operated 1,220 freight train trips with its cold-chain freight train service topping the land ports nationwide. The cargo throughput at the port reached 10.58 million tonnes, and the revenue of the port from technology, industrial, and trade sectors amounted to 100.8 billion CNY. These achievements demonstrate that the land port has reached its development goals one year ahead of schedule.
