Hanshou Exports Frozen Poultry to Tajikistan for First Time

Recently, a cold-chain truck loaded with 26-tonne frozen poultry set off from Jiangjiazui Town, Hanshou County, heading to Baktu Port in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. These frozen poultry products will be exported to Tajikistan for the first time. 




These poultry products include 2,116 pieces of chicken breast, with a total value of 37,700 USD, according to the export company. In 2026, the company will further enhance its foreign trade business, striving to expand its poultry products to five Central Asian countries including Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, and achieve an annual export volume of over 300 tonnes.

Jiangjiazui Town is an agricultural and industrial hub in Hanshou County. In recent years, the town has rolled out a series of measures including fostering key enterprises, optimizing services, and encouraging technological innovation, to promote the high-quality development of export-oriented economy. Its photovoltaic panel series, Hanshou soft-shelled turtles, hairy crabs, and edible mushrooms are exported to overseas markets. In 2025, the enterprises in the town achieved a total export value of nearly 180 million CNY, continuously unleashing their potential in foreign trade.
