On February 20, the fourth day of the Chinese New Year, Huaihua held the 2026 Spring Festival Symposium for Hunan Businessmen, Huaihua Entrepreneurs and Alumni. Representatives of Hunan and Huaihua businessmen and alumni from across the country gathered to celebrate their shared roots, and a number of pragmatic cooperation results were achieved on site.
Nie Huajun, founder of Shenzhen Locator VFX and an entrepreneur native to Huaihua, said that leveraging the advantages of digital cultural creativity and AI technology, he would continue to serve as a "digital partner" for his hometown, telling Huaihua's stories and empowering cultural tourism development through digital IPs and immersive experiences.
Guo Jian, board chairman of Anhui Jingzhuo Optical Display Technology Co., Ltd., said that the company plans to locate projects such as new touch displays and smart device assembly in Huaihua, building an industrial base integrating R&D, production and training, thereby helping the hometown's electronic information industry extend its supply chain and upgrade.
Zhu Fanfan, president of Zhongrun Huanyu Holding Group Co., Ltd., announced on site that the black bear ecological breeding and bear bile powder freeze-drying processing project has been officially signed. The company will use this project to build a southern headquarters base for the traditional Chinese medicine and health sector, while simultaneously bringing in resources such as commercial real estate and Outlets to achieve comprehensive and deep integration with Huaihua.
A sound business environment and development momentum have become the strongest confidence for attracting talents to return to their hometown. Last year, Huaihua's growth rates of major economic indicators were higher than the national and provincial averages. The per capita disposable income of all residents increased by 6.5%, ranking first in the province. A number of satisfaction indicators have ranked among the top in the province for many consecutive years, and the city's investment value continues to rise.
After the symposium, a centralized signing ceremony was held, with a total of 15 key investment projects signed, representing a total investment of 5.605 billion yuan. The projects cover areas such as bridge-tourism integration, new energy, traditional Chinese medicine and health, and ecological breeding, closely aligning with Huaihua's "5+10" modern industrial system. They will give a new boost to the local industry by strengthening its supply chains and fueling its rise through greater openness.
