Recently, Baojing County of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture held a high-quality development briefing under the theme "My Hometown, My Contribution." As a core part of the series of activities, the event brought together nearly 1,000 entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs who have returned to their hometowns, and representatives from various sectors, who gathered to share hometown connections and discuss development. On the spot, eight key projects were signed, with a total investment of 96.1 million yuan.
At the meeting, senior experts offered targeted advice for Baojing's high-quality development based on typical case studies. The county's main leadership systematically introduced the county's situation, promoted key projects, and extended a sincere invitation to local talents, conveying the message that "You don't have to go far to start a business; success can be found right at home.”Representatives of rural teachers, left-behind children, and returning young entrepreneurs jointly read out the initiative, further consolidating a powerful force of loving, building, and revitalizing their hometown.
The Baojing County Bureau of Commerce released 50 key investment projects for 2026, covering areas such as specialty agriculture and cultural-tourism integration. The eight signed projects focus on priority industries including deep processing of golden tea and eco-tourism development, which are highly aligned with Baojing's vision of building "a county of ecological renown, industrial strength, and cultural tourism beauty."
Meanwhile, all 12 townships in the county simultaneously held "My Hometown, My Contribution" hometown symposiums, where development pathways were discussed through round-table forums and on-site inspections.
