Two print works themed exhibitions in celebration of Spring Festival recently opened at the Yuandian Art Museum, Changsha. One is a tour through European print works (1513–2005) and the other an invitational exhibition of Yuandian Art Museum on 2026 Chinese New Year print works. The exhibitions will last until June 2026.

Residents and tourists watch the exhibitions.
The European print works exhibition systematically presents nearly 100 original prints by nearly 80 western masters spanning five centuries, featuring masterpieces by Dürer, Rembrandt, Cézanne, Picasso, and other giants. Visitors can experience the aesthetics and techniques of different eras up close.
The Chinese New Year invitational exhibition showcases the latest works by over a dozen renowned Chinese printmakers. They skillfully blend traditional techniques like woodcut and woodblock printing with contemporary life themes and visual language, creating pieces that are both familiar and innovative.
The Yuandian Art Museum launched the inaugural event of its annual public art initiative, the "Chinese New Year Paintings on the City Walls", on opening day. Renowned calligraphers from the Hunan Calligraphers Association were specially invited to write free calligraphy works such as Spring Festival couplets and "Fu" characters for the public, presenting them as festive gifts.
