Exhibition of Snuff Bottles at Changsha Museum

An exhibition titled "Craftsmanship in Myriad Forms -- Exhibition of Snuff Bottles" opened at the Changsha Museum on February 10. Hosted by the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television, and co-organized by the Changsha Museum, Wuhan Museum, and Sichuan University Museum, the exhibition brings together over 200 precious snuff bottles dating back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and the Republic of China (1912-1949) period. Crafted from a rich variety of materials, these bottles feature diverse forms and an array of intricate techniques, fully demonstrating the ingenuity and superb artistry of ancient Chinese craftsmen. They vividly bring to life the arts and crafts of the Qing Dynasty, embodying the traditional Chinese spirit of embracing the grand while attending to the delicate.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge.
