On December 22, a delegation of industrial and business personages from Egypt visited Shaoshan, Xiangtan, at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee. They visited the Mao Zedong Square, Mao Zedong Memorial Museum and the Former Residence of Mao Zedong. 

The delegation was led by Hazem Hamada, senator, head of homeland defender party delegation and chairperson of United Group. Hazem Hamada said, through this tour, he had a clearer and comprehensive understanding of Chairman Mao Zedong's life story and his revolutionary course, and moreover, got a more in-depth understanding of the original aspiration and founding mission as well as the history of the Communist Party of China.
